Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) is training Colombian officials on clearance of unexploded ordnance and mines, especially on working with mine-detection dogs.
The update was shared by CMAC Director General H.E. Heng Ratana during a meeting with Colombian officials who are engaging in the training course at the centre's command in Battambang province yesterday.
Financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the five-year capacity building was kick-started from earlier this year onward at CMAC headquarters here in Phnom Penh.
