Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism on Five-day Official visit in Cambodia

Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism H.E. Luo Shugang has been now on a five-day official visit in Cambodia until Jan. 31.

He arrived in Siem Reap province yesterday afternoon and was warmly welcomed at the airport by H.E. Hor Moniroth, Secretary of State for Tourism of Cambodia, and other senior officials concerned, as well as provincial authorities.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, apart from meeting with provincial leaders and visiting ancient Khmer temples in Siem Reap, H.E. Luo Shugan will travel to Phnom Penh on Jan. 29 to meet with Tourism Minister H.E. Thong Khon.

On Jan. 30, the Chinese minister will pay a courtesy call on Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace, and hold a bilateral talk with H.E. Ms. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts.

In the afternoon of the same day, he will attend the celebration of the first edition of China-Cambodia Tourism and Culture Year at Chaktumouk Theater.
