A large Chinese film producer is spending over US$2 million to shoot a movie in Cambodia, according to local media report.
As quoted in the source, the company's Director General Mr. Li Min said the filming in Cambodia intends to further strengthen long-lasting cooperation between the two countries as well as to disseminate Cambodia's culture and key tourist destinations to the world.
Describing the so-called cross-border love, the movie will be shot in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Preah Sihanouk, Siem Reap and Kampot, and some parts of China, he added.
According to H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, the filming will play a crucial role in attracting foreign tourists and investments to Cambodia.
