Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has licensed five more investment projects worth over US$52 million.
The update was shared on the council's s Facebook page yesterday, adding that the projects are expected to generate some 4,701 jobs for the locals.
The investments included trade centre construction, photo frame manufacturing, and the production of garment, plastic bags and air and water purifiers.
The approved projects are YIMGJIA (CAMBODIA) ART SUPPLY MFG CO., LTD. located in Preah Sihanouk province, CNDEGRE INTERNATIONAL (KH) CO., LTD. in Kampong Speu province, BIG C SUPERCENTER (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. in Banteay Meanchey province, and HUABAOSUYE PLASTIC PRODUCTS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. and ZHAOHUI FILTER CO., LTD. in Phnom Penh.
