CDC Approves a US$5 Million Factory Project in Kampong Speu Province

A US$5 million bag factory will be built in Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province, creating 1,383 jobs for the locals.

The information was shared in a press release of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) issued this afternoon following its approval of the investment project.

The bag factory is the investment by Soki Bag and Accessories (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.

Such investment amid COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic.
