APSARA Authority of Cambodia has discussed with delegation from Fudan University of the People's Republic of China on capacity building to Cambodian officials for better conservation work.
Dr. Chhean Ratha, Acting Director of the Department of Conservation of the Monuments outside the Angkor Park, represented Cambodian side to talk with the Fudan University Delegation led by Ms. Jiao Yang, Party Committee Secretary of the Chinese university.
The two sides agreed on collaboration, such as human resource development on heritage conservation, researches, and cultural relic conservation.
Grounding on the areas, a memorandum of understanding will be developed and co-signed by the APSARA Authority and Fudan University.
Dr. Chhean Ratha thanked the Fudan University delegation for the cooperation and looked forward to see it concretised.
