Cambodia’s premium products have been asked to be included in the onboard food and drink programme of Thai Smile, a subsidiary of Thai Airways.
H.E. Ouk Sorphorn, Cambodian Ambassador to Thailand, made the request during a meeting with a delegation from Thai Airways led by its business director Mr. Viset Sontichai, on Jan. 25 at the embassy in Bangkok.
H.E. Ambassador proposed the airline company to cooperate in selling Cambodia’s premium products on Thai Smile, as the airline is scheduled to launch daily flight between Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam in July this year.
H.E. Ouk Sorphorn briefed the Thai Airways delegation on the embassy’s efforts to implement economic diplomacy focusing on trade, culture and tourism, as well as the developments of COVID-19 pandemic in Cambodia.
For his part, Mr. Viset Sontichai accepted the ambassador’s request and promised to continue working with the embassy’s trade attaché to prepare a list of Cambodian luxury products and to promote Thai Airways’ flight services to businessmen and tourists in Cambodia and in Thailand.
