Cambodia exported 135,137 tonnes of rubber in the first half of 2022, a 3 percent increase compared to the same period last year, earning US$215 million as revenue, up 2.9 percent.

The average cost is US$1,597 per tonne for dry rubber in the January-June period, according to a report from the General Directorate of Rubber.

The Kingdom exports the commodity mainly to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and China.

Cambodia has so far planted rubber trees on a total area of 404,044 hectares, of which 310,193 hectares, or 77 percent, are old enough to be tapped.
