Committed to maintain the unity among other ASEAN members, Cambodia will not giving up on Myanmar and is trying to pave way to bring the country back to the regional community.
The note was highlighted by H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in an exclusive interview with AKP yesterday.
There have been progress and regression in our effort to reach the ASEAN 5-point consensus to end crisis in Myanmar, however, Cambodia remains optimistic, he added.
Cambodia has about half a year to go, so the country will try to help Myanmar, no matter how difficult it could be.
At least, he continued, Cambodia can pave way for the next chair of ASEAN to achieve the 5-point consensus.
While doing the job, Cambodia is also committed to ensure unity among other members of ASEAN because ASEAN cannot lose any member and needs one voice to remain strong.
