Cambodia's Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Environment H.E. Eang Sophalleth attended the 3rd Sustainable Energy for All Forum under the theme "Going Further, Faster - Together" in New York, from April 3-5, 2017.
According to the Ministry of Environment's news release, this international forum is the landmark gathering celebrating the global sustainable energy movement. It is a marketplace to help broker new partnerships and ideas, spur investment and drive action towards sustainable energy and realising Sustainable Development Goal 7 of the United Nations.
Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Eang Sophalleth said energy is among the four prioritised sectors of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Kingdom, which is now in full peace, stability and rapid development, is welcoming all investors.
The forum attracted more than 1,000 participants who are senior leaders from 113 countries, representatives of relevant international organisations, civil society organisations and private sector.
