Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this afternoon announced to use the cash prize of US$1 million to build houses for veterans.
The Premier made the announcement while presiding over here this afternoon the handover ceremony of China-funded Morodok Techo National Stadium.
“With US$1 million, we can build many houses for veterans as a house costs only some US$4,000,” he said.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen was awarded the US$$1 million cash prize along with the World Summit Peace Medal at the “7th World Rally of Hope: Think-Tank 2022” organised by the Universal Peace Federation this morning via videoconference under the theme “Peace in the Asia-Pacific”.
