Cambodian PM Urges Opposition Party to Stop Cheating People

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning through his official Facebook account called on the head of the main opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) and his party members to stop deceiving people.

In the past recent weeks, he added, the opposition party has used his recent decisions over people's requests for its political gains, saying that the achievements resulted from its demands.

"It is very shameful that the opposition party lied to people like this. But, the truth is always the truth. The opposition party has nothing to do beside deceiving people," underlined the Cambodian premier, adding that it is true that many national achievements have been made without the participation of the opposition party.

What they (opposition party) have done was deceiving, insulting, inciting for chaos, and asking foreign donors to cut off their assistance or not to invest in Cambodia, said Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

After Prime Minister Hun Sen has used actively Facebook since the past few months, many requests and suggestions from the public have been responded and a number of issues have been solved, including the revocation of the concessional agreement on National Road No. 4?s toll collection, the Veng Sreng toll road license, the license requirement to drive the motorbikes of 125CC or lower, and the service charge for transfer of property from grandparents to grandchildren, from parents to children, from wife to husband and vice-versa, etc.
