AKP Phnom Penh--Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has expressed profound thanks to all competent authorities as well as the public for the smooth process of the 5th Commune/Sangkat Council Election on June 5, 2022.
During the graduation ceremony of more than 2,000 students of the Royal School of Administration in Phnom Penh this morning, the Premier also thanked more than 80 percent of registered eligible voters who went to the polls.
At the same time, as the President of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his gratitude to all CPP’s supporters for voting for his party in the June 5 election.
The National Election Committee (NEC) will release the official results of the 5th Commune/Sangkat Council Election on June 26, 2022.
Based on the preliminary results, CPP could win up to 99 percent of the commune/Sangkat chief seats, he said.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also called on all newly elected commune/Sangkat council members to work together for the citizens’ interests.
