Cambodian PM Participates in 7th World Rally of Hope

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, attended as a keynote speaker the “7th World Rally of Hope: Think-Tank 2022”, organised on Sept. 12 by the Universal Peace Federation via videoconference.

The event takes place this year under the theme "Peace in the Asia-Pacific".

“As a country placing priceless value upon peace, Cambodia highly appreciates the organisation of this rally to strengthen the culture of peace and mutual trust under the framework of international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region,” said the Cambodian Premier in his address.

Other keynote speakers include H.E. José Manuel Barroso, the 11th President of the European Commission and the 115th Prime Minister of Portugal; H.E. Donald Trumps, the U.S.’45th President; H.E. H.D. Deve Gowda, the 11th Prime Minister of India; H.E. Ms. Maria Gloria Arroyo, the 14th President of the Philippines; H.E. Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona, the 5th President of Trinidad and Tobago; Nataša Micic, Acting President of Serbia from 2002 to 2004, and so on.

On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen was awarded with a World Summit Peace Medal.

Featuring prominent world leaders and captivating entertainment, the Rally of Hope is uplifting, actionable and faith-based.
