Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has spoken highly of the key role of journalists in the national development.
Tomorrow evening, Friday, 11th January, I will meet with journalists in a solidarity dinner at Koh Pich. It’s true that the progress of the nation cannot be inseparable from the contribution of all journalists, he underlined in a Facebook post this morning.
We’ve lost the opportunities to rebuild our nation for many years due to civil war. After our country is in full peace, we need foreign tourists, businessmen, and investors, Therefore, true and positive information about Cambodia has built confidence among them, he added.
The Premier also thanked all national and international journalists, including online medias and social networks, for having taken part in promoting Cambodia.
