Cambodia's Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak held talks with Acting Director of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Accessions Division Ms. Maika Oshikawa in Geneva, Switzerland on Nov. 22.
According to the Ministry of Commerce's news release, on the occasion, Ms. Maika Oshikawa invited H.E. Pan Sorasak to chair a side event to be held during the WTO's 11th Ministerial Conference from Dec. 10 to 13, 2017 in Argentina in order to help eight Least Developed Countries (LDCs) which are applying for the WTO's membership.
In response, H.E. Pan Sorasak accepted the invitation to share successes and experience of Cambodia since becoming a member of WTO in 2004.
