Cambodian Commerce Minister Attends ASEAN-BAC in Thailand

Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Commerce H.E. Sun Chanthol yesterday afternoon attended the Brief Dialogue with ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEMs) and ASEAN-BAC discussed the past ASEAN-BAC's recommendations to AEMs, which include: ASEAN Lanes at Airport Immigration, Women business in "economic pillar", ASEAN Business Travel Card, ASEAN Internship Programme, Removal of Non-Tariff Barriers (NTBs) and Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs) in healthcare, agro-food, retail and logistics, Include Finance Bodies in Consultation Process, Proposed Financial Services and Capital Markets Expert Group, E-commerce regulatory framework, and ASEAN Single Window, pointed out a news release of the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce.

They also discussed the role of ASEAN-BAC in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Blueprint 2025 and the Lao Chairmanship 2016 deliverables, added the news release.
