Cambodia, Vietnam Laud Progress of Bilateral Cooperation

Cambodian and Vietnamese leaders have spoken highly of the progress in the bilateral relations and cooperation in all domains between the two neighbouring countries.

According to TVK special correspondent, in their working breakfast in Tokyo this morning during their stay in Japan for the State Funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister H.E. Abe Shinzo, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam also agreed to continue solving the remaining work, particularly on border marker planting between both nations.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen informed the Vietnamese president of his fruitful cooperation with the new Vietnamese Prime Minister in the strengthening and expansion of bilateral and multilateral relations and cooperation.

For his part, H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated the cooperation between the two governments, especially in increasing the trade exchange despite the COVID-19 crisis.

Both leaders also exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest.
