Cambodia, Vietnam Laud Growing Bilateral Cooperation Despite COVID-19 Crisis

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam have expressed their satisfaction with the growing relations and cooperation between the two neighboring countries despite the COVID-19 crisis.
While receiving courtesy visit from newly appointed Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang at the Senate Palace in Phnom Penh this morning, Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate, spoke highly of the good cooperation and mutual support, both spiritually and materially, as well as of good neighbourliness, friendship and partnership in light of COVID-19 crisis.
For his part, the new Vietnamese diplomat echoed what Samdech Say Chhum mentioned, thanking Cambodia for the timely assistance in cash, medical materials and vaccines for the Vietnamese people.
H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang pledged to do his best to further deepen the relationship between both countries.
The ambassador also praised Cambodia for its development and its right policy in vaccinating its people against the COVID-19 pandemic and reopening the country in all domains, giving trust to international tourists.
