Cambodia to Mark 42th World Tourism Day Early Next Month

Cambodia is going to celebrate the 42th World Tourism Day in Phnom Penh on Oct. 3, according to an announcement of the Ministry of Tourism.

The ministry will lead the organisation of the event in collaboration with municipal and provincial tourism departments, private sector, tourism associations and operators, tourism-related businesses, tourism vocational schools, and other tourism stakeholders.

This year’s World Tourism Day is themed “Rethinking Tourism”, highlighting changes and trends in world tourism after the COVID-19 crisis, the announcement added.

The ministry has prepared promotional posters along with pictures of Cambodian tourist attractions, and asked all stakeholders to take part in disseminating them widely.
