Cambodia to Host the Southeast Asian-ASEAN Para Games Council Meetings Next Month

Cambodia will host the 2nd Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting and the ASEAN Para Games Federation Council Meeting next month.

The update was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) following a CAMSOC meeting chaired by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Permanent Vice President of CAMSOC here in Phnom Penh on Tuesday.

To take place from July 11 to 13 in Phnom Penh, the meeting intends to prepare Cambodia to host the 32nd SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games 2023 and coordinate the support from all members, said H.E. Vath Chamroeun.

The 2nd Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting will discuss and agree on sport disciplines, regulations and amendments to the SEA Games constitution.

It will also examine major sport infrastructures of the members of the Southeast Asian and the ASEAN Para Games, he added.

According to H.E. Vath Chamroeu, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen will address keynotes in the opening of the meeting.

The 1st Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting took place in Siem Reap province on April 9-10.
