Cambodia is going to host the Second Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministerial Meeting on Tourism and the First International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Heritage Cities in the cultural province of Siem Reap, from June 11 to 16.
Tourism and culture ministers and high-level delegations from 21 countries are expected to attend the forthcoming events, said H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, at an inter-ministerial committee meeting yesterday.
The aim of this international forum is to discuss new models of partnership and roles of good governance in the sustainable management, protection, conservation and development of heritage cities, underlined H.E. Minister.
The concept of the forum will respond to China's One Belt One Road Initiative in the framework of tourism industry development with suitability and responsibility, he added.
The First ACD Ministerial Meeting on Tourism took place in Iran in 2016.
