Cambodia is expected to face high temperatures of up to 39 degrees Celsius this week, while some parts of the country will experience light to moderate rain, according to the new weather forecast shared this morning by the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology.
For the three main classified areas, said the same source, the central lowland would have the temperature between 26 and 39 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the northeastern highland areas would be between 26 and 36 degrees Celsius, while that in the coastal areas, between 26 and 37 degrees Celsius.
From Mar. 14 and 16, the provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Pursat, Battambang, Siem Reap and Pailin will have light to moderate rain, continued the forecast, adding that there would also be low rainfall in the coastal provinces – Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Kep and Koh Kong – from Mar. 11 to 16.
