It is necessary to strengthen the Asia-Europe cooperation to be more comprehensive to achieve a resilient economic growth.
The remark was made by H.E. Some priorities, including the development and implementation of regional economic recovery plan and strategy, socio-economic digitalisation, development of SMEs, human resource development, impacts arising from climate change and so on, should be focused on, he added.
On this basis, he underlined, all the ASEM countries must stick to the spirit of openness and support for multilateral trade system to enhance the attractiveness and favorable atmosphere for business activities, trade and investment in response to the changing global trade and economic architecture.
“Furthermore, we need to reinforce the coordination and joint efforts in setting out concrete strategies and actions, both at the regional and global levels, aiming to overcome challenges and risks, especially to take advantage of the potential for change toward the New Normal of development in order to maintain sustainability and strengthen resilience of our socio-economic development,” the Cambodian deputy prime minister said.
