Cambodian senior tourism officials have shared experience in implementation of ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (MRA-TP) with visiting counterparts from Champasak province of Laos.
Advisor to Ministry of Tourism H.E. Tri Chhiv and his team represented Cambodian side in the experience sharing session that took place Thursday at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh.
According to the tourism ministry, the Lao side has encountered some challenges with the implementation of the regional arrangement in terms of tourism vocational skill development for students and workers in the industry, particularly in Champasak province.
The Lao delegation expressed their appreciation of Cambodia's sharing which is useful for them to address the problems they are facing.
Taking the opportunity, H.E. Tri Chhiv also shared with the Lao friend more experience in terms of developing legal documents, support mechanism, as well as relevant strategic plans.
