Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) has unveiled identity of Cambodia's national athletes to play with their opponents from East Timor on Oct. 12 in a friendship match here in Phnom Penh.
The competition will be the second since the national team has been coached by Japan's acclaimed football star Mr. Keisuke Honda.
Following the play with East Timor, Cambodian footballers will challenge against their peers from Singapore on Oct. 16.
National athletes from East Timor, Malaysia, and Singapore are joining the so-called International Friendship Competition Cambodia is hosting.
In its first match against Malaysia, Cambodia lost the country with one versus three goals.
For FFC, the competition will prepare Cambodian players for the November 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup with participation from the teams of other countries including Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and East Timor.
