Cambodia Receives Over US$6.8 Billion Cooperation Financing between 2013-2017

Cooperation financing continues to play a key role in the socio-economic development of Cambodia, according to a summary report on major achievements of the fifth-mandate Royal Government of Cambodia, from 2013 to 2017.

In that past five-year period, Cambodia has received in total more than US$6.8 billion in cooperation financing, it pointed out.

Some 35 percent of the amount, or about US$2.38 billion, went to the social affairs sector, while the infrastructure sector US$2.07 billion, economic sector US$1.48 billion, and inter-sector US$782 million, or 30, 22 and 11 percent, respectively.
