Royal Government of Cambodia is studying the possibility of publishing state bonds another measure to promote domestic money flow and support government spending.
The plan was shared late last week by acting Minister of Economy and Finance H.E. Vongsey Vissoth in a meeting with vising Mr. Ahmed Muneeb Saeed, Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) here in Phnom Penh.
H.E. Vongsey Vissoth underlined that the state bonds will play a crucial role in diversifying financial source and mobilising local saving interest for mutual benefit.
They will help improve capacity of relevant ministries and institutions to be ready to enter capital markets contributing significantly to the national country's economic development, he added.
