Cambodia is calling for applications among its youths and students for ASEM logo design competition as the Kingdom will host the 13th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit in 2020.
The interested candidates can submit their entries (logo and meaning) to email@example.com from July 15 to August 31, 2019, according to an announcement released yesterday.
The winner will receive a cash award of 4 million Riel or about US$1,000, the same source added.
Cambodia has been involved with ASEM since 2004 at the 5th ASEM Summit in Vietnam. Since then, Cambodia has actively participated in ASEM's different activities and hosted two events, including the 7th Face-to-Face Training under Asia-Europe Public Diplomacy Training Initiative and the 8th ASEM Sustainable Development Dialogue.
ASEM is a positive mechanism to promote Cambodia on the international arena and the Kingdom has benefitted a lot from this forum in terms of economy, development, human capacity building, trade, tourism, people-to-people exchange.
