Cambodia, Kuwait to Further Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the State of Kuwait have been committed to further tighten their ties of friendship and cooperation for their mutual interest.

The commitment was made during the meeting between Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and newly appointed H.E. Mohamad Saeed Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Cambodia.

The new diplomate pledged to boost the implementation of the already-signed agreements, particularly on direct flight, labour, and food trade between the two countries.

H.E. Mohamad Saeed Al-Hajri also wished Cambodia success in hosting the ASEAN Summits and Related Summits next week.

For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated H.E. Mohamad Saeed Al-Hajri on his appointment as Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Cambodia. He encouraged both sides to consider other sectors of cooperation, for example Kuwait has energy, while Cambodia has food, therefore the two sectors can complement each other.
