Cambodia Gymnastics Federation (CGF) expects to win gold medals for the sport at the SEA Games 2023 to be hosted by Cambodia.

The expectation was underlined by CGF President H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, while presiding over the closing ceremony of gymnastics competition here in Phnom Penh early this week.

Though the sport has just formalised new in Cambodia, the athletes are working hard and the federation has invited a coach from Brazil to train them, said the minister.

He encouraged coaches and athletes to continue to do the best to break record for the nation.

Gymnastics is one of 38 types of sports listed for the SEA Games 2023.
