Cambodia and Greece will establish a mechanism for bilateral political dialogue through the channel of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, according to local media report.
The update was shared during the meeting between H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and H.E. Nicolaos Kaimenakis, Ambassador of Greece to Cambodia here in Phnom Penh yesterday.
With that planned mechanism, both sides are looking forward to a memorandum of understanding in a near future.
H.E. Prak Sokhonn also asked the Greek diplomat to increase honorary consuls and to further promote tourism cooperation between Cambodia and Greece.
H.E. Nicolaos Kaimenakis accepted the Cambodian top diplomat's request and pledged to work hard to further advance collaboration between the two countries during his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
