Cambodia expresses interest in developing trade, economic cooperation with EAEU
Bishkek (AKIpress) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Askar Mussinov visited Cambodia on the eve and met with its Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ouch Borith.
Mussinov spoke about Kazakhstan’s contribution to strengthening of regional and international stability and security, including nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
The sides exchanged their opinions on cooperation within the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), while the Cambodian side expressed interest in developing trade and economic cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
They also agreed to consider possible organization of high-level visits, establishment of a consultation mechanism between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and signing of basic bilateral documents to develop cooperation.
