The Royal Government of Cambodia has encouraged residential development companies to construct homes costing less than US$30,000 for lower and medium income people.
The remarks were shared here yesterday by H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, while chairing the meeting to draft a policy on Encouragement of Suitable-Price Residential Development Projects.
Under the draft policy, the housing investments for lower and medium income households will be granted tax exception and beyond, underlined H.E. Vongsey Vissoth.
It is a commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia to enable households with lower and medium income to reside in a safe and decent home.
Once the draft policy is completed, added the secretary of state, it will be sent for the review and approval by the cabinet of ministers.
