Ministry of Health has confirmed that Cambodia has no case of swine flu or N1, yet encouraged the public to take appropriate precaution to protect themselves and their families from the disease.
Dr. Ly Sovann, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health shared a post as saying recently at the official facebook page of the Department of Communicable Disease Control.
The confirmation follows the news about the outbreak of N1 in India and Myanmar, wherein World Health Organisation's interventions are needed.
Despite the normality, Dr. Ly Sovann encouraged the public to take good care of themselves partly because Cambodia is undergoing rainy season with common seasonal flus.
The spokesperson also detailed precaution measure and symptoms of N1 in his post, encouraging those suspected of the disease to be referred immediately to the nearest health centre.
