Cambodia and China will sign the Agreement on the Cooperation Projects of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Special Fund 2022, on June 13 in Phnom Penh.
The signing ceremony will take place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation between H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. WANG Wentian, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, under this MLC Special Fund, 13 Cambodian Projects will be supported and granted fund at the amount of US$ 4,335,900.00.
The projects mostly covers activities related to the fields of Information Technology (IT), rural development, tourism, environment, combatting fake news, immigration and border management, research, aviation, as well as heritage conservation, among others, the source pointed out.
