Cambodia-China Bilateral Trade Reaches Almost US$7 Billion in First Seven Months

Bilateral trade between Cambodia and China was amounted to US$6,971 million in the first seven months of 2022, up 15.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to the General Department of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in the January-July period, Cambodia exported US$701 million worth of goods to China, a year-on-year decrease of 15 percent, while the Kingdom’s imports from China rose to US$6,270 million, up 20 percent.

Cambodia mostly exported agricultural products including milled rice, mangoes, banana and cassava to China, and imported industrial products, raw materials, and construction materials from the country.
