Cambodian and Belorussian officials will gather in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus on June 29-30, 2017 in the Second Session of the Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the two countries.
A preparatory meeting for this upcoming meeting took place here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of H.E. Ms. Tekreth Kamrang, Secretary of State for Commerce with the participation of officials from related ministries and institutions, pointed out a news release of the Ministry of Commerce.
The preparatory meeting discussed and obtained invaluable inputs for the counter-draft agenda and Agreed Minutes proposed by Belarusian side in order to achieve expected results for the forthcoming bilateral meeting, it added.
Belarus is situated in Eastern Europe and is a member of Eurasian Economic Union, with which Cambodia is building FTA. Remarkably, industrial sector contributes roughly 40 percent to its current GDP, and main trade lies in mineral, chemistry and machinery.
