Cambodia and Bangladesh have vowed to further deepen employment and vocational training cooperation guided by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries.

The remark was made during a meeting between Cambodian Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Ith Samheng and H.E. Mohammed Abdul Hy, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Cambodia recently at the ministry.

According to H.E. Ith Samheng, the bilateral employment and vocational training cooperation dated since 2017 was renewed as COVID-19 is easing.

H.E. Mohammed Abdul Hy deeply appreciated the cooperation with Cambodia and was committed to exercise full support for it.

He also invited H.E. Ith Samheng and Cambodian Technical Working Group on Labour and Vocational Training to attend a technical cooperation meeting with Bangladeshi counterpart in Dhaka.

H.E. Ith Samheng accepted the invitation and hoped to schedule the visit in a near future.
