Cambodia Asks EU to Support Human Development in Aviation

Cambodia has asked the European Union (EU) to support the country's human resource development, especially in aviation skill including flight inspection.

The request was made by H.E. Mao Havannal, Minister in charge of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia during a recent meeting with H.E. Henrik Hololei, Director General of Mobility and Transport of European Commission in Singapore.

According to H.E. Mao Havannal, the meeting aimed to strengthen the collaboration between Cambodia and EU on civil aviation safety.

The meeting allowed exchanges of insights and experience in order to foster aviation safety and security, and discussion of Cambodia-EU agreement.

H.E. Henrik Hololei spoke highly of Cambodia's rapid development, particularly in upgrading the safety of civil aviation in the Kingdom.

He also thanked Cambodia for its support with moving forward the Cambodia-EU agreement discussion.
