Cambodia Announces to Provide 200,000 Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine to Vietnam

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has announced to donate 200,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Vietnam to contribute with the latter to combating the pandemic.

H.E. Dr. Or Vandine, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health and Chairwoman of the Ad-hoc Commission for COVID-19 Vaccination told AKP tonight about the donation.

The secretary of state will represent Samdech Techo Prime Minister to hand over the vaccines to the Government and people of Vietnam on Oct. 29 at Bavet-Moc Bai border gate in Svay Rieng province.

Cambodia has so far provided cash, facemasks and medical supplies for countries in the region such as Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Nepal, etc. Recently, Cambodia has also donated COVID-19 vaccines to Laos.
