Senior military leaders of Cambodia and Thailand have welcomed the progress in the cooperation between both nations along the common border.
This information was made known by a Joint Statement of the 14th Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting signed at the end of the meeting here this morning by Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence and his visiting Thai counterpart H.E. Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan.
According to the joint statement, the annual meeting reaffirmed the importance of the 14th GBC Meeting which provides guidelines and goals to boost the existing good relations and important cooperation between the two countries' armies at all levels so as to promote peace, stability and security along the borderline.
The next Cambodia-Thailand GBC Meeting will be hosted by Thailand.
