Despite being the low tourist season, the 3 international airports in Cambodia � Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville International Airports � welcomed nearly a million passengers in July, according to the Cambodia Airports' press release.
Together, all three airports welcomed more than 959,000 passengers in July alone, a 23 percent increase compared to the same month last year.
For Phnom Penh International Airport, added the release, there was an increase of domestic and international passengers by 10 percent and 21 percent respectively during the month.
Throughout the same period, national travellers increased by 78 percent, while foreign passengers rose by 389 percent at Sihanoukville International Airport, making up the total number of about 200,000 travellers.
At Siem Reap International Airport, there was slight decrease of air passengers by 3 percent, compared to July, 2018.
