Cambodia is committed to win more medals from the international boxing at the SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam and the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia.
The commitment was shared by Mr. Buy Sophoan, Secretary General of Cambodia Boxing Federation (CBF), adding that the federation is training Cambodian boxers hard, especially through the Ultimate Boxing Championship.
The effort aims to strengthen the capacity of the national athletes to earn medals for the upcoming events, emphasised Mr. Buy Sophoan.
Cambodia is sending 8 or 9 boxers to join the SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam.
He also spoke highly of the boxers for their hard work and optimism to succeed in the SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam and 2023 in Cambodia.
