An American Large Firm Pledges More Purchase of Cambodian Garment Products

VF Corporation, a leading American company, has promised to buy more Cambodian textile and garment products.

The promise was made by visiting Mr. Bradford van Voorhees, Senior Manager, VF Global Responsible Sourcing, during his courtesy call on Cambodian Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Ith Samheng in Phnom Penh yesterday afternoon.

According to the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, in the meeting, Mr. Bradford van Voorhees expressed his appreciation to the royal government's efforts in creating favourable professional relations, improving working conditions as well as bettering the workers' rights and social protection.

The enhancement of the workers' welfare is one of the top priorities of the Royal Government of Cambodia, underlined H.E. Ith Samheng.

VF Corporation, is an American worldwide apparel and footwear company founded in 1899. It is a major buyer of Cambodian textile and garment products.
