Agriculture Minister Receives French Ambassador to Cambodia

H.E. Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has received H.E. Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh, Ambassador of France to Cambodia.

In the meeting taking place here in Phnom Penh on Monday afternoon, H.E. Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh told the minister that this meeting is a good opportunity for exchange of information and good experience to bring Cambodia's agriculture to a new level.

The French diplomat pledged to strengthen cooperation with the ministry in promoting the development of Cambodia's agricultural sector.

She also spoke highly of Cambodia's rapid development in all sectors, especially in agriculture, significantly contributing to the national economic growth and improved people's living standard.

From his end, Veng Sakhon thanked the Government of France for its continuous support and contribution to Cambodia's development, and hoped that the support will further promote the Kingdom's agriculture, especially domestic rubber production.
