Adult Entertainment Businesses Allowed to Resume in New Normal

Phnom Penh municipal administration has authorised the adult entertainment business activities such as KTVs, bars, and nightclubs to resume, but in the new normal.

The new directive was made public this morning, thus considering null and void that of yesterday on continued closure of those businesses until Dec. 5, 2021.

According to the new directive, the authorised adult entertainment businesses must stick to the health safety rules as well as the Three Dos and Three Don'ts measure, and the COVID-19 vaccination cards control at the entry-exit is a must.

Any business that fails to follow the guidelines will face licence revocation or total closure.

For related individual offender, s/he may be subject to both administrative and legal sanctions.

Cambodia has seen low COVID-19 new infections for about two months. This morning, there were only 22 reported cases, 19 new recoveries and 5 new deaths; bringing the total confirmed, cured and death cases in the Kingdom to 120,134, 116,507 and 2,940, respectively.
