AKP Phnom Penh, The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has just approved a new garment factory project in Kraing Makak commune, Ang Snuol district, Kandal province.
With an investment capital of some US$2.4 million, the project is expected to create 380 jobs for the locals, according to a press release of CDC.
The garment factory is the investment by Auspicious Bag & Shoes Accessories Co., Ltd., it pointed out.
Such investment amid the COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic.
