A leading Chinese furniture company has introduced its products in Cambodian market, according to local media report.
The company, Chengdu Bayi Furniture Group, launched its products in a recent trade fair chaired by Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak here in Phnom Penh.
Addressing the function, the minister warmly welcomed the arrival of the furniture company to Cambodia either in the form of wholesale or retail operation.
Deputy Chief of China's Sichuan provincial Bureau Mr. Zhang Ying who also witnessed the event spoke highly of the move with optimism that it is made possible via the One Belt, One Road initiative.
According to the figures from the Ministry of Commerce, Cambodia's trade exchange with China has increased with an average of 26 percent every year in the past decade.
