652 Construction Projects Licensed in Two Months

A total of 652 construction projects have been approved in the first two months of 2022, a decrease by 207 projects, according to a report on Socio-Economic Trends of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The licensed construction proposals were valued at US$137 million, down 88.9 percent, read the report.

Of the total projects, 94.5 percent or 616 were for housing, down 230 projects compared to the same period last year.

In 2021, a total of 4,303 new construction projects were approved nationwide, with cumulative registered capital investment of US$5.333 billion – down by 31.21 percent year-on-year.
